Details

On the nightly builds from the 27th and 28th on Linux, I am unable to get reasonable behavior with the back and forward buttons. If I click on several links, then hit back, the browser jumps back to a recent page, but leaves the 'current URL' pointer (the checked item in the Go menu) at the page furthest 'forward'. Even if I choose my browser's initial home page from the 'Go' menu, the Go menu pointer is left at the furthest forward point. This makes the browser almost unusable if I ever want to retrace my steps back through my personal click history.
Essentially, this bug can be said to leave the 'what URL am I at' pointer stuck at the furthest forward point. I can click 'back', and it moves me to the second-most recent page, but if I click 'back' again, it calculates the back move from the furthest forward page, which would be the same one I was currently on. Pressing back several times leaves me each time at the second-most-forward page.
