I attached an image of the options/general tab. I have Firefox start with my home page (www.cnn.com). What I see happen is first the selected home page displays and then immediately switches to the last page I was viewing when I closed the browser.

How do you close your browser, and are you sure it isn't crashing on exit? Can you reproduce if you use Firefox's Safe Mode (Help > Restart with add-ons disabled, then browse to a page, exit, and when next starting Firefox, hold the "shift" key on the keyboard to open in safe mode)?

I have no add-ons and, yes, I can reproduce it in safe mode. Like I said originally, this behavior started after I updated Firefox (see original comment for version).

Steven, can you help figure out what's going on here? :-)

If you go back to version 31, does the problem reproduce?

Firefox suggests to reset instead of going back versions.
