Steps to reproduce:

Tried to screencast the videos on this page http://people.mozilla.org/~mfinkle/casting/test.html


Actual results:

Got the option to stream to Roku on my Android device, but nothing actually showed up on Roku. You can see multiple people reporting the same experience in Roku forums http://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=73829


Expected results:

Stream should have appeared on the Roku device.

Just to check are you on our current beta? Due to a bookkeeping error in our code we did not have casting enabled in our first beta. Use the Google Play app to check for Firefox Beta updates.

Yes, this is the current beta from the Play Store. I also double checked to see if there are any updates available, and there aren't any (which implies I'm running the latest version)

Tested with latest Beta from the Play Store and it works for me.
Make sure you have the Firefox client installed on the Roku device.

Super helpful instructions. I am indeed able to stream from Firefox Beta on Android to the public Firefox Roku channel. It was the Beta to Nightly incompatibility (?) that caused the issue I guess.
