Copying flags from bug 1061142. The patch that I just put on bug 1074401 will fix this on master, and is upliftable to 2.1. I'm not sure it's safe to uplift to 2.0, at least not without also uplifting some of bug 973105. I think uplifting this stuff to 2.0 is going to be very risky and would rather just leave this unfixed on 2.0 because it likely happens in 1.4 as well and isn't really a regression.

This should now be fixed in 2.2 and 2.1 via bug 1074401. If this is flagged as 2.0+ then we can look at options for fixing it in 2.0, but as mentioned above I can't think of anything that would be relatively low-risk.

Triage group: Based on it's very high risk to uplift patch to 2.0. Remove nom.

Mike,
Could you please provide the video for me to verify this bug? I'm not sure my understanding of the steps is correct.
Thank you very much!

Hi Lancy, I cannot open your attachment, it shows file is broken.
v2.2 still can highlight your selection but it will affect by another feature (copy&paste)
Highlight behavior might not appear immediately, please help to check it again, thanks.

Mike,
After downloading the video to local, you can open it.
And I have tried the steps many times, there is no the highlighted list item or another feature(copy&paste) will be affected.
Could you please confirm again?
