Note: this is a follow-up issue from Bug 1066358.

Reproducible on:

STR:
1. Launch Firefox with a clean profile.
2. Type in the following URL in the awesomebar: http://example.com/ and hit <enter>.
3. Bring back the awesomebar into focus, type in: http://example.net/ and hit <enter>.
4. Bring back the awesomebar into focus, type in: http://example.n but don't press the <enter> key. Keep partially typing the URL and check the behavior of the awesomebar.
 * see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8493001 as an example

ER:
The text being typed in the awesomebar is displayed properly, without any flickers/glitches.

AR:
If a match is available in the suggestions pane, the text being type in the awesomebar is moving vertically as you type.
