On close of mozilla when there are still tabs/windows open, the open links are
'lost'. Ie. when mozilla restarts there is no way of 'restoring' these
tabs/windows. This is not a major problem when the user chooses to close mozilla
(though it would be nice), but if this is due to a crash occurring this can be
terrible if many links are open!
The UI to inform the user of the links that were open (and offer to reopen them)
when mozilla restarts could take many (configurable?) forms:
- a selectable list (like skipstone)
- another 'special' (optional) folder on the personal toolbar
- open all in the list automatically
- ...
As a further addition a 'tagging' of tabs (unsure about applicability to
windows) to determine whether they are important or not (and should be reopened
on crash, etc.) could be implemented.
Maybe you are thinking of bug 102130? This doesn't need to be a bookmarks
issue. Tabbed Browser is closer...

Marking as dupe of bug 19454. Reporter: If you disagree, please reopen this bug.
Reporter: You may also want to check out http://recall.mozdev.org/, as that's a
browser plugin to save pages in the event of a crash.
