To reproduce: - Go to http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/lists/ul.html - Select from teh middle of one of the example lines, eg from the PACT in COMPACT to teh end of the line - copy, and paste into a text area. Expected results: PACT (compact display) Actual result: * PACT (compact display) Since the beginning of the line isn't selected, mozilla shouldn't include the *. Note that if I don't select to the end of the line, the result is as expected.
