Looks like the Tarako devices don't ship with fonts apart from the locales in it.

For example

go to http://m.newshunt.com/

pick any article telegu article

it is not rendering properly.

if you pick Bengali or Hindi article, its showing properly!

Issue reported on Spice Fire One and Alcatel Onetouch (running 1.3T preview build). The same website works properly on Flame (2.0 and 2.2-nightly).

It looks like Tarako devices cannot render fonts other than English, Bengali, Tamil and Hindi which are the included locales. Need a work around solution for the other locales.

looks like a handset provider issue. Support is present for this.

Hi all,
Tarako will only support English, Bengali, Tamil and Hindi.

other indic languages wont be available until 2.0, please remark this as won't fix. thanks!
