Details

Spun off from bug 97895. nsIWidget::Validate() is currently unimplemented on mac. As of right now, there is no one using this API, but the plan is to keep it around, and not having it implemented will adversely affect performance on Mac if someone decides to use it.
Went in with changes for bug 113480.
