I tried adding a functional test for audio-only calls to Loop.
Unfortunately it doesn't work yet as it breaks existing tests as there doesn't seem to be an easy way to close tabs (although bug 1078718 may also be causing issues here).
Any suggestions welcome.

I spent some time poking at this, and it's not obvious to me what's going on there.
While we could certainly workaround this by opening a new tab, using the existing on should be just fine, and is arguably what wants to be fixed. It's not clear to me why that's erroring out.
I'm happy to pair on this a bit with you to debug further at some point...

We are currently reworking the Loop "user journey" (bug 1209713) and as part of this direct calls and contacts are being removed. Therefore closing direct call related bugs as wontfix.
