seen on commercial builds: windows 2001-11-01-03-trunk linux (is failing to do a crash/hang blocker) mac 2001-11-01-04-trunk -open mail app -compose a message in japanese -encode the message with japanese font (View |Character Encoding | Japanese) -send the massage to yourself -Get the message -Read the message... ...everything looks fine...Japanese font is rendered correctly -Reply to or forward the message... ...now the fonts are garbage (look at charset encoding and the message is encoded with western font) changing the charset back to japanese doesn't correct the problem (although any reply text that was entered in japanese will be "sent" correctly again) this is a smoketest blocker for international mail
It sounds like a dup of bug 107869.

I think this is a dup of bug 107869. Tracy, do you have i18n smoke test data? Please try reply for the second message which is Japanese. Does that work?
