+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #843126 +++
playstation.com Web sites have switched to a responsive model. The site is displayed as expected now on Firefox OS and others. After a little while, the page shows a flickering effect in between the transition of the different backgrounds.
There was a similar effects on another site that I can't find right now. We may need to better understand why there is this effect.

Hallvord,
The site switched from Desktop to Responsive a little while ago see Bug 843126 (which was about es.playstation.com but was true for all localized version of playstation).
* Faking Chrome Mobile Android UA on Firefox Desktop brings a non responsive desktop content, same for any UA I tried when entering http://es.playstation.com/
If you go to http://uk.playstation.com/country-selector/
you get a selection of countries.
Japan gets a mobile site
http://www.jp.playstation.com/
But indeed it seems all european sites do not have anymore any mobile sites whatever the browser UA.
I guess we can close this issue. It doesn't make sense anymore.
