1082495 - Dialer app icon missing on homescreen

Device is a Flame.
Software is: B2G 2.2.0.0-prerelease, last updated 8th of Oct. (last week).

Symptom: the dialer app icon is missing completely from the homescreen. I can see music, video, messages, ... but not the dialer icon.
I can still find it by using the search tool though.

Also, when connected to WebIDE, I can't see the dialer app in the list of apps. I can see the callscreen app, but I'm not sure it's the same.

And yes, I've tried to scroll down :) Below the "fold", I just have the browser app, and a few other apps I've installed.

Dialer is not listed in WebIDE because it's part of the Communications app that includes Dialer and Contacts. Do you have Contacts on your phone?

I do have contacts on my phone (imported from google). And I don't see the Contacts app on the homescreen either (am I supposed to?).

I am also missing the dialer app icon on my phone's home screen. I can find it by searching for it using the search term "phone". I upgraded from 2.2 to 3.0 in case there was an issue in 2.2, and the same issue exists for me in 3.0. Let me know what other information I can provide.

Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
