Internet Explorer (at least on the Mac), allows saving web pages in three
formats: Plain text, HTML source, and Web Archive. A web archive is a whole
page and all its images etc packed into a single file. It would be nice if we
could import them.
(Sorry if this is already requested but couldn't find a mention)

I'm sorry, but not a duplicate. This bug is about saving all data in ONE file,
not saving all images, scripts, sheets in seperate files.

That specific issue is covered by bug 18764 (reading MHTML) and bug 40873
(writing MHTML).
You talked about importing -> dup of 18764
