Installed 2.30 10/16 and upon opening seamonkey all I get in totally black window, cannot get past this Am now back to 2.9

Steps to reproduce:

Went through usual install 2.30 and then on trying to open seamonkey was presented wirh totally black window and a smaller black window overlying the large one.With the black window I cannot get to seamonkey home page. I went back a reinstalled 2.90 to get to home page and my email.
I'm seeing that on a few of my co-worker's machines.  x86_64 Win7 Pro.

Can't see anything. the menu options are all there, it's just that I can't see anything.

Well, apparently updating the driver fixed it. The co-workers' machines
are Lenovo machines with Intel HD driver installed.
