After the user enters in their email and password when signing into the "find my device" feature, the user will notice that the email will appear truncated.  See attached screen shot for a visual aid.
   
Repro Steps:
1) Update a Flame device to BuildID: 20141020001201
2) Select the "find my device" feature within the settings menu.
3) Sign in or create a new account.
4) Enter a valid email address and password.
5) Notice the email on the final page is truncated.
  
Actual:
The email entered will be truncated on the Mozilla Fire Fox email confirmation page.
  
Expected: 
The email entered will not be truncated.

I'm confused. Can you please explain why ellipsizing text is a regression, if that text would otherwise overflow its container?

I think the regression is that the email address didn't used to be truncated at all. The ellipsis itself is not a regression; the fact that the email truncates at all is.

Looks like this isn't a regression: long emails are ellipsized on that screen in v2.0 as well. See attached screenshot from today's 2.0 build.

It is ugly and a little unfortunate, though, that the email is ellipsized in a bunch of spots in the FxA flow where there's room in the container to wrap around. I'm happy to fix that. Maybe we can start with screenshots of the existing flow and do a general visual polish pass?

Line breaking email addresses should be avoided. Attaching a proposal to mitigate the problem. Some emails will still be truncated.
