Having treeherder open with many revisions (e.g. after opening 50 extra jobs) seems to cause significant performance issues that affect the Firefox main thread and generally make the browser difficult to use until the treeherder tab is closed. I don't know what's causing the problems, but it seems to be fairly easy to replicate by loading up treeherder, opening many revisions, and waiting a little.
I'll let Ed triage but perhaps related to bug 1084086 and its meta, bug 1067844.

I'm going to dupe this over to bug 1067846, since the summary there has morphed since this bug was filed, and so covers the issue here too.
