jst is seeing "Canada" from California. Can you provide an IP address? Do you run into geolocation detection related issues for websites?

I did, a while ago, but my ISP fixed at least some of that. I'd rather not give my IP in a public bug, but I'll email it to you, Ed, and anyone else who cares here. http://geoiptool.com/ places me in California now, but about a month ago it placed me in Canada, so that's very possibly the source of this.

The problem was our server was using an old free database that was indeed putting jst's IP address as Canada. A newer free database has it updated to United States, and the paid database we use for marketplace also has it correct.

oyiptong is filing a bug to have the database updated to the site licensed one. Please have it blocking this bug.

jst, with bug 1088210 fixed, can you run this to confirm you get the same location (or at least a path that has US/en-US and not CA/en-US):

And testing again from home with a clean profile I now do see US/en-US!
