1088581 - Loop button disappears from customized toolbar

STR:
1. Start FF 34b2
2. Go to about:config and set loop.throttled=FALSE
3. Restart FF
4. Enter customize mode and move the Loop icon from the palette to the toolbar
5. Close FF
6. Start latest Nightly using the same profile

Actual results:
Loop icon is gone from the toolbar back to the palette. 'Share this page' icon appeared in the toolbar.

Hi Pauly, I tried to reproduce this on Windows and Linux with old profiles and new profiles and could not reproduce this issue.  Is there one profile in particular that shows this problem?  Or are you seeing this across more than one?  

If it's one particular profile, can you tell me anything about its history?  What version of the browser has it been used with?  Has it been used with Nightly or Aurora?

Can you try this with a fresh profile?

Step 1 in comment 0 is on a new profile, forgot to mention. This is 100% reproducible for me on Win 7 x64.

On my Win 7 machine (32-bit), I can't repro this with Beta 2.  I've tried multiple times with new profiles (and a couple old ones).

Mike -- Can you think of any explanation for what Pauly is seeing?  

We are both running Win7 (he's 64-bit, I'm 32-bit), but OS should be irrelevant to a bug like this.

AH, thanks for posting the screencast, Pauly.  I thought you were reporting that when you reopened Beta2 with the same profile, you saw the Hello button back in the palette.

Bug 1073215 and Bug 1073218 will clean up the button and throttle work on Fx35 and Fx36, respectively.

Also, my understanding is that using the same profile on different channels (Beta and Nightly) isn't officially supported. 

We will though work to clean this up in Bug 1073215 and Bug 1073218.

This should get resolved by Bug 1073218 (so I believe this will be resolved as WORKSFORME) when it lands.

I'm going to mark this as a dup of bug 1073218.  

Pauly -- Bug 1073218 should be in tomorrow's Nightly (if the trees reopen in time). Can you retest this once that bug lands?  Thanks.

It seems to be fixed, indeed. 36.0a1 (2014-11-09)
But the 'Share this page' icon still appears in the toolbar.
