1088679 - ::before element sometimes clears selector pane in browser toolbox inspector

STR:

0. Open browser toolbox
1. Open inspector
2. inspect bookmarks menu button in the navbar
3. select the ::before pseudo-element on the dropmarker
Note: you can now see all the styles.
4. right click the button to set :hover on the toolbar button

ER:
can now see the styles that apply when the button is hovered

AR:
it selects the toolbar button, and if I go back to the ::before element, the css pane goes completely blank and the console has errors. Specifically, those in comment #1
