As a product owner, I am able to add, remove, or modify the location of the links to additional information in the visual indicators and other areas so that I can update local or remote information source URIs over the life of the product.
I don't understand what this user story is asking for. We obviously control the Firefox source code and content of our websites, so if we want add/remove/modify those things we can. Is this asking for something more?

Best analogy I can give is the old PFS, where we maintained version information and checksums independently of the client code (e.g. updates of the CDM can be announced through a URL which is checked on a regular basis by the client and, when a new CDM is available, is installed in the background similar to the initial install).

Implementation will be in bug 1129219.
Depends on: 1129219
Bug 1129219 is about adding a "Learn more" link to a SUMO in the Add-ons Manager, but AFAICT this user story is about managing the CDM versions and download URLs published on AUS.

* catlee: do you have a bug number for the AUS work?

I'm not really sure what you're after.

We have bugs for individual updates to the CDM, e.g. bug 1146191
