using Aurora of Oct. 28 2014, on Arch Linux running Gnome/GTK environment with any of several GTK+ themes.  





Actual results:

Checkbox just before "I hereby agree" is not visible, and cannot be checked/unchecked.  


Expected results:

Should be able to see and check/uncheck input box, as is possible in same environment using Firefox 33.0 (Beta channel).
It appears checkboxes are also invisible/inaccessible within the Preferences pop-up window, and presumably in the rest of the UI as well (not sure where else I should check).
Please check if the issue occurs using Firefox in safe mode (with your addons disabled):

Also, do you have e10s enabled ?

I had e10s enabled, but the bug shows up with e10s disabled as well.  Have tried starting with -P, -safe-mode, and also with both switches enabled.  Problem persists in all cases.  thx Paul.

Everything's fine for me on Aurora 35.0a2 (2014-10-30) on Ubuntu 14.04 x64
I wonder if the issue could relate to gtk somehow -- I tried changing gtk themes but didn't have much success
I was using a third-party paclage for arch (http://pkgbuild.com/~heftig/packages/aurora/).  THe problem doesn't seem to arise when using the firefox aurora tarball.  should probably be closed as invalid?

Hi Paul,

it appears the package I'm using was built against GTK3 -- using a non-default theme breaks firefox.  Not sure if this is still worth keeping open as it appears to be a bug of the gtk3 port (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=627699)

I reproduced this way earlier (with the Elm builds as well and not just my personal ones) and filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1073117 . It appears in combination with GTK 3.14.

The checker/radio is not drawn because it uses shadows. Non-shadowed checker/radio is rendered ok (in menu for instance). Investigating, looks like a bug in Gtk and/or some wrong style set-up.
