1091378 - ja-JP-mac locale (Japanese for Mac) build should show same tiles as ja locale (Japanese for Win/Linux)

Description

[dynamis (Tomoya ASAI)]

Current (2014-10-29) build of ja-JP-mac locale don't show tiles.
Tiles for ja-JP-mac should be same as ja. I think we should handle ja-JP-mac as an alias of ja locale in the Tiles database interface.

background note:

For Japanese build, we have two locales:
* ja for Win/Linux
* ja-JP-mac for Mac

Translation for Win/Linux vs Mac is very different in Japanese so we have variant for Mac. Difference are only UI localization and locale code. Distributed for same language and location users (Japanese/Japan). We build both locales for nightly but official build will be ja-JP-mac locale for Mac (ja for Mac will not used).

both screenshots are taken with 2014-10-29 builds.
ja-JP-mac should show same tiles as ja build for Mac.

Can you try testing with ja-JP-mac again with a new profile? This should be fixed with our latest published tiles.
