109257 - [RFE] Be able to receive email notifications by components, products, and/or Platform

Currently, there's a way to track bugs assigned to particular users.  This is
great if the person had gone on vacation (or had quit) and his/her backup person
needs to get all email bug notification assigned to the person on vacation.

The problem with this is that the person tracking this user on vacation can't
just track a particular component and/or product that the user on vacation owns.

My problem is that the person I'm tracking owns multiple components (is the
default 'Assigned To' person) and is not on vacation.  I've moved to work on a
new component, and he's taken over my previous components.  But I'd still like
to keep an eye on my previous components in case there are issues that only I
can help.  I don't really care for his other components that he also owns.

The feature that I'm requesting is to be able to 'watch' components and/or
products, instead of 'users' (or in addition to 'users').  I actually do not
care about the users, just the product and component that I used to own.

I'm getting way too much junk bugzilla messages that are hard to filter (I just
rather not receive them).

I actually do not care much about being able to key off of platforms.  I'm more
interested in Components and Product.

[RFE] is deprecated in favor of severity: enhancement.  They have the same meaning.
