Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011011 BuildID: 20011210 Just a basic suggestion It would be nice to have the "print" option integrated into the right click menu so you can print a page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. right click 2. 3. Perhaps the best place to place the "print" option is right below the "save as" option within that same section (no separator). The reasoning being that "print" and "save as" are both together in the File menu.

Ok, thanks, I didn't know what Component it was.
Wontfix. Printing is neither contextual nor extremely common. See <http://mozilla.org/projects/ui/menus/shortcut/>.

I am reopening the bug for another look at it. After reviewing the comments here, I had to agree with you in some sense about it not being a function used all the time. However, since them I have thought of another issue involving this. On pages with frames having print in the right click menu allows you to print only a ccertain frame with much ease. It is for this reason that this function is so useful on a right click menu. It makes working with frames, iframes, and the like easy to print out. Currently Mozilla prints all frames instead of the current frame with focus. Thus you cannot print a certain frame without first opening that frame in a new window (and that takes even more time).

Yes you can. Choose `The selected frame' in the Print dialog. Marking invalid.
