After update to V2.30 Seamonkey is blocked by Norton 360 firewall

Details
Updated Seamonkey via 'check for updates'. It updated to v2.30 with no errors detected and started up ok. But will not conect to any web page unless firewall is disabled
I installed previous release versions 2.00, 1.18 and still does not work
Did clean install of 1.18 still same problem.
Did clean install of 1.00 same problem
Seamonkey times out when trying to access ANY web page
On hunch I disabled Norton 360 firewall - and Seamonkey was able to connect
Prior to updating to v2.30 Seamonkey was able to connect to web pages

This is no issue with Seamonkey but rather with your Firewall.
The usual way to deal with such issues is to remove Seamonkey from the firewall configuration and add it again.
