[Blocking Requested - why for this release]: Nominating this to block 2.1. The volume sliders did not exist in 2.0. The user should be able to adjust the volume of the screen reader, as well as the rate. Broken functionality

This works for me on 2.2 Hey pete, how are you trying to adjust the sliders? When the screen reader is on, you need to bring the cursor to the slider (by either explore by touch, or swiping right), and once the cursor is on the slider, you need to swipe up and down to increase/decrease. Some info on screen reader operation can be found here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Accessibility/Mobile/ScreenReader

Hi Eitan, When the slider is highlighted, I tried swiping up and down, left and right, two fingers, and the volume rocker. The slider graphic does not change.

Broken new feature = 2.1+ (Stephany confirmed from a UX perspective).

Just tested this myself and seems to work just fine. The way you operate sliders with the screen reader are: * Focus the screen reader on the slider * Swipe up or down with 1 finger * The slider adjusts as expected. I watched the video and it doesn't look like the interaction is performed correctly. You can't actually drag a slider with the screen reader instead the swipe up or down with 1 finger should be performed anywhere on the screen. Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvAMTk_iqdg

Hi Arthur, Is this bug on your plate?

Please, see comment 8. I don't think the video shows correct interaction with the screen reader.

Hi Yura, thanks for the video and I was able to adjust the sliders using those steps. However the graphic text on the bottom does not display.

(In reply to pete siphantong [:Petes] from comment #11) > Hi Yura, thanks for the video and I was able to adjust the sliders using > those steps. However the graphic text on the bottom does not display. Hi Pete, yeah, that is an additional settings in the screen reader section, you can turn it on and off. By default it is off. I just wanted to display the text for the video.
Per comment 8 the feature seems work well.

Removing blocking and marking Resolved WFM as it seems form the latest comments that this is working as expected.
