I've been running several dedicated profiles, one of which I use for Aurora and have been using for years.
However, (starting with the 2014-11-10 build) on every start, Aurora now creates a "dev-edition-default" profile and clutters the profile manager menu.
Manually deleting the folder and/or the entry from profiles.ini doesn't help, it keeps recreating new default devedition profiles.

I just launch it normally by launching the Aurora/devedition shortcut ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Aurora\firefox.exe"), which then shows me the profile manager.

Not a high priority, but past do you think this would be easy to fix?

I think something like this would fix it, but I haven't tested it and I'm not entirely sure it won't result in confusion for other users. Is nsIToolkitProfileService.startWithLastProfile a clear indication that the user is manually managing her profile list?

My assumption was that if we're going to show the profile manager, we probably shouldn't create the dev-edition profile. That includes if .startWithLastProfile is false, but also if the browser is launched with -profilemanager.
But that assumption may be wrong: in this same situation, does normal Firefox create a `default` profile before opening the profile manager?
