Steps to reproduce:

1. flash firefox os 2.1 to the phone
2. boot the device, unlock the lockscreen



Actual results:

homescreen show three default icons after flash 2.1 to the phone.

though the nightly debug, I find that these three icons are collections, and I don't know why they can't show the right icon. 

after restart the phone, these three icons are disappeared. 

plus: the 2.1 simulator also have this problem. 



Expected results:

homescreen show the right collection  icons after flash 2.1 to the phone.

Yong - can you provide details about how you flash the phone? It seems in your original description you left out going through FTU. During FTU our migration/population for collections occurs, so if you miss this, then you might be missing your collections.

Have you modified the scripts to bypass FTU somehow?

   yes, I flash the phone in debug mode, and it bypass the FTU, thanks a  lot.

This sounds like an enhancement for developer testing then (being able to see smart collections while bypassing the FTU). I don't think this is something a user would ever see.

Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
