No, I suspect this is due to the changes in 998869 which uses some manual refcnt swizzling.

This appears to be a duplicate of bug 1109201. The stack here is basically the same, just one additional level here. So the fix for that bug appears to have fixed this one. For beta users, the 1109201 stack occurs while for nightly/aurora users this one shows up. Alice, does this crash occur for you still with current trunk builds? Can you still reproduce the problem in your environment with older nightly builds? I'd like to do some more work to track down the reason a font fails to get created but I'm struggling to reproduce in the problem in the test environments I have set up.

Browser does not crash on Latest Nightly37.0a1 build. And crash on bad build of comment #0 , Aurora36.0a2 and Firefox35.0b6.
