Went to thimble on staging w/ login3, clicked on "join webmaker", and typed my email, clicked the checkbox, and submit. I ended up logged in on thimble, which is great, but a bit surprising to anyone who'se expecting to type in a password. I wonder if we want a discreet, non-modal notifications letting people know that they're set, signed in, have an account, all cool, etc., and pointing to the menu with their account-related actions.
I wonder if we should replace the Goggles and Resources CTAs with a single 'Welcome to your Webmaker account' CTA.
That sounds like a great idea! lets run it by the design folks
I believe Ricardo's idea was to show success by highlighting your username in the header in some way. I'm fine with a success modal, though a yellow bar success notice across the top of the page might be less obtrusive. Like this but with appropriate copy: https://redpen.io/mt9583af24ad3492df
A "toast" style notification like that might have to be done for each app, separately..
Created attachment 8523045 [details] success modal https://redpen.io/kxb34f33e62ae49107 That sounds hard Cade. Let's recycle the CTA for general pages as jbuck suggests. https://redpen.io/kxb34f33e62ae49107 If it's not easy to insert the tool name as in the mockup, we can use "Let's Go!" or "Start Now!"
Yes this is a sound approach that doesn't increase complexity.

Great. Design is done. Assigning to Cade for implementation.
