Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011012 BuildID: 2001101201 I have my mail account configured to use IMAP. Furthermore, under "Place a copy in Folder", I have configured the mail program to place a copy of all outgoing messages to the INBOX folder on the server. When the contents of the INBOX are viewed, under the "Sender" column, it lists the "to" address, not the "from" address. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a mail account to use IMAP. Ex. your account is james@mozillamachine.com 2.Configure mail account to place copies of outgoing mail into the INBOX of the IMAP server 3.Receive an email from outside your network (Ex. send an email from somebody@otherhost.com to james@mozillamachine.com) Actual Results: When the email is received by the local machine and listed in the top panel of the email application, the "Sender" column says that the email came from "james@mozillamachine.com" Expected Results: The "Sender" column should indicate that the email came from "somebody@otherhost.com" This used to work correctly in a previous version of mozilla (The version that comes with RH7.2)
Reporter: Are you still seeing this bug with recent builds? WFM, current Linux CVS w/pop2 accounts.
Just downloaded 0.9.6 and it's still there. I think it has to do with the fact that I'm using IMAP and I've configured the mail client to put copies of my outgoing emails into the INBOX on the imap server.
