I wondered why Nightly's main process was consuming constant ~30-40% of CPU. Turns out it's due to the add Self-Destructing Cookie add-on that has a repeating toolbar button animation. The icon seems to constantly fade out and in again.

Bill: does this sound like an add-on bug? Should Firefox do something to guard against add-on problems like this?
Could you try the build from the development channel on SDC's AMO page? It contains updated GUI code, utilizing an Australis native widget. It might just fix this problem.

That's working great for me. Thanks!
Sounds like this wasn't an e10s bug?

Hmmm, maybe not? I'm having a hard time reproducing this... The current release version of SDC completely breaks navigation in a trunk e10s build.
