Steps to reproduce:

I notice the style has changed on the dropdown comboboxes. Now the dropdown is similar to a popup menu and has arrows you can hover over with a mouse to move up and down through the list. That can be slower if there are a lot of elements and you want to get to the bottom.


Actual results:

For example go to http://forms.embarcadero.com/BCC32CompilerDownload and click on the country dropdown. I will upload two screenshots FF31/FF36 combobox.PNG showing the differences.


Expected results:

I prefer the old style. I think it looks better and it's faster in cases like this.

Hmm.  When did this change?  David, do you know?  Ray, do you happen to know which release (or better yet which nightly) this changed in?  Is the change in 34?

There's work ongoing in other bugs to get the combobox style back to what it used to be like -- it changed with e10s, since I believe the popup needs to be remoted to the parent process, which makes doing it a bit of a pain.  jimm would know what those other bugs are.
