Details

Considering that it is becoming easier and easier to ship new locales on Fennec, and it is likely more useful for certain locales to begin their localization experience at Mozilla with Fennec than Firefox, we need to create a bugogram that tracks the work for launching a new Fennec localization which does not have a desktop counterpart.

Can you evaluate if this bug is still relevant for your work?

We have very few new Fennec locales these days, and might not need bugs for websetup anymore, but things might change with GeckoView.

Yeah good point, I'll have to think about this. thanks for resurfacing!

My vacation brain is slowly melting away :)
I think we can close this, and revisit once the need to track all this makes sense again. I haven't added any new Fennec locales in at least a couple months (and don't plan to add any new ones) - and as you say, the list will probably also be different once we need to track this kind of work again.
