Minimizing and maximizing the browser via the windows taskbar while the search toolbar is selected will dismiss/slide in the search menu panel:

STR:

1) select the search toolbar and ensure that the search menu is visible
2) minimize the browser by clicking on the Nightly icon under the windows taskbar (browser will minimize)
3) maximize the browser by clicking on the Nightly icon under the windows taskbar (the search toolbar will still be selected but the menu won't be visible)
4) Repeat #2 & #3 (this time around, the search menu will be visible, you can keep repeating the steps and the search menu will appear/disappear/appear/disappear every time you minimize/maximize)

Attached a .gif that demonstrates the issue.
