I wanted to figure out when bug 1100886 started, using this URL: https://treeherder.mozilla.org/ui/index.html#/jobs?repo=mozilla-inbound&searchQuery=b2g_emulator_vm%20mozilla-inbound%20opt%20test%20reftest-14 Scroll to the bottom, load an additional 50 pushes, and repeat a few times. (Do the "Collapse all revisions" each time too, to save space in the UI.) Treeherder becomes unusably slow, in either Firefox or Chrome. I think it's substantially slower than TBPL here (and TBPL was pretty bad -- *way* slower than my proof of concept for TBPL on top of buildbot before it was done officially -- mine used JSON blobs that were trimmed down on the server side to only what as actually needed).
(Also, bug 1078209 makes this worse, since if that were fixed, I at least would be able to bisect something that happened a few days ago without loading all pushes between then and now.) TBPL also doesn't have that problem.)
I believe this is a dupe of both bug 1095213 (specifically bug 1095213 comment 1, since the bug is likely going to morph in that direction) and the other deps of bug 1067846, which are going to improve performance in general.
