Hi,

On my platform (OpenVMS), a file can not be named with two periods, such
as foo.bar.mumble

There are 6 files in the entire Mozilla tree so named, all in
xpfe/AppCores/xul/resources. Can these be renamed before M9?

Files in question are:

TB_Edit.mo.gif
TB_EditPage.mo.gif
TB_LoadImages.mo.gif
TB_MixSecurity.mo.gif
TB_Stop.mo.gif
TB_Unsecure.mo.gif

Other files which a LONG time ago were named foo.bar.mumble got changed
to foo.bar_mumble

I think you mean foo_bar.mumble, since the extensions are quite significant on
other platforms. Colin, if you are able to do this yourself it would be very
helpful, just reassign the bug to yourself as well.  Otherwise...

It looks to me that all these files are obsolete (probably from an earlier
iteration of the UI).  cc:'ing german and hyatt to see if that's true.

.mo probably refers to mouseover. Most of the filenames were merely copied from
Moz Classic. These specific ones are obsolete, go ahead and cut them off life
support.

The references to the obsolete .mo.gif files have been removed from the Windows
and Unix make files.  I'll delete the actual files later today.

I'd already noticed that in recent builds I wasn't seeing the file
naming problems any more. This is fixed! Many thanks.
