>>Project/Request Title:
New content for the stub installer

>>Project Overview:
We'd like to update the stub installer content. Our goal is to visually unite the installer with the new user tour and to add Fast, Non-Profit and Independence messaging that's not included in the tour.

>> Creative Help Needed:
Copy: Yes
Design: Yes
Video: No
Other: animation

>>Creative Specs:
We'll be designing three screens for the stub installer that will each need images, text and animation. Exact formats and deliverables will have to be determined by engineers working on the stub installer.

>>CTA and Design:
We'll have three screens:
1. The initial screen with the install button. This is typically seen just for a moment as people quickly locate and click the install button.
2. The screen shown while Firefox downloads. This can be visible for as little as 5 seconds on a really fast connection. More typically it's visible for 10 seconds or so.
3. The screen shown while Firefox is installed. This is generally shown the longest - about 20 - 30 seconds.

We want to use these three screens to talk about how Firefox is the fastest browser, how it's made by a non-profit and that's it's the independent choice. The messages don't necessarily have to be in that order. For example, the last screen is generally the most remembered so we might want to tailor the order to take advantage of that.

We want the installer screens to look like they are part of the new user tour (a longer-term goal may be to make this one continuous experience). In addition, we like to use animation to draw attention to information, add whimsy and echo the interactivity of the tour.

We'd love to meet with you to discuss.

Hey Michael,

This sounds great. Given all the current craziness and the short week next week, could you set something up for us in Portland? Seems like a good opportunity to connect in person.

Thanks.
Update: Had a good conversation about this in Portland. Next steps are to create a brief outlining the three screens and what we would like to say and see on each.

Should the due date maybe be updated for this one?
