Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0
Build ID: 20141011074935
Steps to reproduce:
- Change the new tab page from enhanced to classic
- Manually delete all shows tiles by clicking the 'x'
- clear all history, data, cachce, etc. (all options checked)
Actual results:
After normal browsing and cleaning of history, the new tab page, in classic mode will still display a few sponsored tiles. CVS seems to be the one that keeps popping up, but I've seen others.
Expected results:
Classic mode on the new tab page should result in NO ADS. This is a bit of an annoyance, but possibly a privacy concern as well.
For the time being, I've switched to the ESR channel where this feature has not been released.
