1103931 - eBay icon almost illegible in new search URI

In the old search UI, there was text to the right of the icon indicating it is an eBay search.

With the new search UI, no explanatory text is displayed unless the user hovers the mouse over the icon and the small size of the text within the icon borders on illegibility.

Is a bigger or clearer icon possible?  (their current favicon perhaps?)

I agree this icon isn't readable and looks bad in the new UI (see attached screenshot).

Mike, do you know if we can just change this icon or if we need someone from ebay to decide and provide a new icon for us? If you don't, do you know who would know? Thanks!

I'm going to say this isn't a blocker for 34. I'm not sure legibility is achievable without using an unfamiliar icon, so I'd like to not make that call under time pressure.

we're back to time pressure, with only one 35 beta on Mon Dec 29th. Due to holidays slow-down and people on PTO, I don't expect to get a fix for 35 time frame but leaving this tracked for 36.

eBay has been removed as an option.  Marking INVALID.
