Details

MozillaWiki uses a number of custom namespaces. While enabling some features, this approach also incurs administrative overhead. Let's examine the current use of namespace and adjust if needed.

Pages that appear to belong to namespaces but don't also need to be addressed.
Here's the usage from an old snapshot:

We can start to move pages out of namespaces that are very rarely used and then disable those namespaces.
Specifications, Minimo, Tinderbox, DocShell, and DOM (and their associated talk namespaces) have been emptied and can be disabled.

SVGDev is another low-hanging fruit.

The rest may require some deeper investigation. But I learned something new: MozillaWiki used to hold content that later found a home on MDC/MDN. So we should keep that in mind during our pruning.
