Details
(Keywords: rtl)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0
Build ID: 20141125180439
Steps to reproduce:
Firefox suggested me to update to the latest version 34.0 and i accepted that, so Firefox was restarted after the update.
Actual results:
For English letters there is no problem, but if there is a Persian character in any textbox (such as Address bar, Search bar, or any text inputs in the content of any webpage, in order to delete it the "Delete" button works normally but the "Backspace" button needs to be pressed double times for a character to delete.
Expected results:
It should need one backspace button press to delete one Persian character.

I can confirm this for Hebrew as well, under Windows 7.
When the textbox is on LTR mode (left ctrl+shift), Hebrew characters require two 'backspace' presses to be removed.
When the textbox is on RTL mode (right ctrl+shift), English characters require two 'backspace' presses to be removed.
Same with arabic. Dupe of bug 1110135.

Both are dupes of bug 1034337. You can fix the bug manually by setting bidi.edit.delete_immediately to true in about:config
