User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/39.0.2171.71 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Access any web site, for example facebook.com.

Actual results:

While images are loading FF shows an ugly icon (similar broken image) at image position and size. See attachment.

Expected results:

Not shure, may don't show anything while loading or show a better image.

Tested with e10s and non-e10s.
I've been seeing this on Nightly for a few days with Twitter (expand a tweet with lots of favs/RTs, during the few seconds it takes for all the avatars to load there are red-dot broken image placeholders).
