Here is a graph showing the regression: http://graphs.mozilla.org/graph.html#tests=%5B%5B255,132,33%5D,%5B255,131,33%5D%5D&sel=1417185276362,1417790076362&displayrange=7&datatype=running I did a bunch of retriggers on tbpl: https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Fx-Team&fromchange=932ee43b5e87&tochange=4a388c2d87c5&jobname=Ubuntu%20HW%2012.04%20fx-team%20talos%20tp5o this is the push where we break from ~327 and start getting many data point in the ~340 range: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/fx-team/pushloghtml?changeset=374e01ce7430

I don't see how this can be that commit - unless tp5 is somehow opening a conversation window from hello (or incorrectly loading our scripts), it is highly unlikely to be related.

thanks Mark, I start with the obvious- let me do a few more retriggers and see if something else shows up. there is a chance that something in the infrastructure could be a catalyst for this :)

I did some retriggers yesterday and it isn't clear your patch is the culprit. There were some changes to the core infrastructure last week that were landed and then backed out; it could be related. For now the graph is almost 100% back to normal. Apologies for the randomization.
