1108816 - Project kickoff form, changes to privacy review

The legal/policy team is revamping our privacy review process and changing these to "data compliance reviews."

As part of that, we require changes to the project kickoff form.  Please remove the privacy review and privacy technical review from the list of bugs created by the project kickoff form and replace them with the data compliance bug. See Bug 1108805 for the request to create a new data compliance review.

Can you give me an update on where we stand with this bug?  The project kickoff form continues to spin of the privacy review and privacy technical review bugs.  This confuses people.  We'd like to replace those asap with the Data Compliance Bug that you created for us in December.

Taking. Depending on how the questions are answered, currently the Project Review form will create up to 3 privacy related bugs.

summary   => 'Privacy-Technical Review: blah'
product   => 'mozilla.org'
component => 'Security Assurance: Review Request'

summary   => 'Privacy-Policy Review: blah'
product   => 'Privacy'
component => 'Product Review'

summary   => 'Privacy / Vendor Review: blah'
product   => 'Privacy'
component => 'Vendor Review'

Do you need me to do away with the 3 here and just create the Data Compliance bug from bug 1108805 ort is the Vendor one something different?

Yes, I want to get rid of all of these and replace them with one Data Compliance bug.  The project kickoff form should still create a security review bug, which I believe is separate from the three bugs you have listed here.

This looks great.  I have one change that relates to the data compliance bug (I'm not sure if that change is best made to the project kickoff form or the data compliance bug itself).

In the text for the data compliance bug, where is says "*Description... Describe the data compliance issue." can you changes that to read "*Description... Describe the data compliance issue: If your request involves changes or additional data collection, please describe that collection, including specific fields, where the data will be stored, how long it will be stored, and who will have access to the data."

David, this still seems to load the old version of the Data Compliance bug without the additional new text.  Is that because the changes to the data compliance bug aren't live yet?

I just committed bug 1130590 to both master and development so it should show up on bugzilla-dev shortly. So the Mozilla Project Page and related dependent bugs created look good now?
