Details
A new release for the Adobe Flash player 15, 16 and 13ESR release trains have been released on the 9th of December with security fixes.

Noticed this evening that Firefox v34 on Windows is reporting that Flash is out of date (running v15.0.0.239, displayed as 15.0 r0), yet the plugin check page states that it up-to-date. The adobe update page insists that v16 (16.0.0.235) is latest.

Unfortunately my machines have since been patched to Flash v16 so I don't currently have a configuration that would lead to the unexpected results to test against.
