Description: When I open a new private window, in the url bar some of my history and tabs will autocomplete in the url bar. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a used profile in Firefox 2. Click File > New Private Window 3. In the url bar, start to type a word 4. entries from history are seen Expected: no history to be seen only search suggestions Actual: Preference for url bar shows history to not show it.
This is intended behaviour. I'm not convinced that exposing a preference for this is really valuable.
I agree with Josh. It makes sense in the opposite way - don't suggest in non-private window what has been browsed for in a private window. But actually I personally want to see my regular history in PB windows.
due to last 2 comments and my opinion. Autocomplete must not be transferred from private to normal windows, but reverse direction does not cause problems and is a useful feature. So INVALID
