Some features of Zotero are broken with e10s in Nightly (maybe others as well, but those I noticed):

- Proxy redirect (auto-detection of sites and redirecting them through a library proxy)
- Address bar icon to add content to the library (and auto-detect which content type it is)

The Zotero library pane itself, however, seems to work ok.

Tested with Zotero 4.0.24.1 on Nightly from 20141214

I didn't find any public bug or commits at github which would address e10s already.
Thanks. CCing Simon, who I believe has a plan for addressing this.
I am using Zotero 4.0.28.3 on Firefox developer edition 42.0a2 (2015-09-21). I can't open pdf attachments in Firefox any more. The address bar says: zotero://attachment/911/ and I get this error:

The address wasn't understood

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (zotero) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

You might need to install other software to open this address.

The rest of Zotero seems to be working correctly.
Just to keep this bug up to date: Given the information at https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/multiprocess_firefox, this is being addressed and https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/267549/#Comment_267549 introduces the current beta version of Zotero 5 which implements the new standalone/connector model, which is ready for electrolysis. I'll keep this bug open until the updated version is released as stable, however.
Thanks. And note that you can actually use the beta version of the new Zotero Connector (which is a WebExtension) with Zotero Standalone 4.0, without installing Zotero 5.0 Beta.
This is about a legacy extension which is no longer valid in Firefox Quantum, closing.
