RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 76854

Details

Using Redhat 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, also 6.2 IIRC, Mozilla won't properly handle keyboard focus if you don't enable the "DecorateTransients" option in TWM. With no window manager the same applies, since the windows are not reparented anyway... I'm aware this was a reported bug in Irix, but it seems to be more general. Perhaps it is a GTK bug, but other GTK apps work, so I'm not so sure about that.

What version of GTK was this system running?
The same GTK that comes with redhat 7.1 and 7.2. In 7.2 it's libgtk-1.2.so.0.9.1, mozilla is "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.2.1) Gecko/20010901" The problems is with the transient windows only, and only if they don't get reparented. In twm that behaviour can be changed with DecorateTransients witch forces reparenting. Otherwise the windows only get a simple frame around them, allowing you to move/resize/iconify/whatever, but they won't get a title and won't be reparented, as if running without a window manager. If I apply the NoTitle option to some of the windows, forcing twm to not draw a title, only the frame as before, but still reparenting the window, the focus works perfectly well. Other window managers allways reparent windows, so the problem won't arise.
what does gtk-config --version return was what I meant, sorry
/home/r0>gtk-config --version 1.2.10 (sorry for the delay, but my new 40GB Maxtor just crashed a few days ago..., then they've got me a 40GB Quantum, never worked, straight from the factory... Now at least this western digital seems to be working, so I've been busy with data recovery and intalations and stuff like that)
